Dead FOB battery

Quick question, folks...if your key FOB battery dies, do you lose all the codes and settings stored in it? Or is everything still good to go once you pop in a fresh battery? Just wanna make sure I won't run into any surprises. Will the bike recognize the FOB like normal afterward, or is there some kind of reprogramming needed?

Key FOB battery dying doesn't erase the codes and settings. So you're confident, codes are actually stored internally and not on the battery. Replace it and then it's gonna restore the normal function, no programming needed.

Glad that cleared it up @Diamond91. Always a relief when it’s just a battery swap and not a full reprogram. What kind of trike are you running, by the way?
