Front wheel lift ideas on a budget

Buddy of mine runs a little shop and let me use his 4-poster to lift my Freewheeler. Rear sits fine but the front's another story. Anyone tried ramps or a center jack without breaking the bank?

Harbor Freight's motorcycle jack worked fine for me. So, I'd suggest that one above all. It's not fancy nor does it have like a popular name or something, but I can swear to you it gets the job done. Ramps help too if you're just trying to level things out.

How do you safely stabilize the front of a Freewheeler when the rear's on a lift, are ramps enough, or is a center jack really the better long-term solution?

@TOFU PRINCE, @Late_boomer A couple of cheap car ramps should work great for getting the front up. Just roll the trike forward onto them until the rear wheels are clear. You can then use a small jack or even a couple of wood blocks under the frame to keep it stable. I've also seen guys use a motorcycle center jack under the frame, but you got to be careful with placement! Either way, always use some jack stands as a backup!!

This is a clever, low-cost approach, thank you @Keviin.DC. You mentioned being careful with a center jack's placement on the Freewheeler. Is there a specific crossmember or a sweet spot on the frame that's the safest lift point to avoid any damage?
