Bought a 2008 Yamaha Stratoliner with a Motor Trike rear and I'd like to service it. I don't see a fluid fill for the differential and the drive shaft has no zerk fittings. Am I missing something or are these sealed from the factory?

The differential is usually sealed, but some models have a hidden fill plug near the top. Try using a flashlight to spot it. Also, yeah the driveshaft may come without zerk fittings and are factory sealed. Did the seller mention any past service or upgrades?

I spent some time with a good light and a mirror this past week but couldn't locate any fill or drain plugs on the differential. The seller unfortunately didn't have any detailed service history to share with the sale. My next plan is to try contacting Motor Trike directly to see if they offer a service manual.

Sounds like a solid plan @Maaark1000. Reaching out to Motor Trike is probably your best bet, especially if the differential’s fully sealed. Let us know if they can send a manual or point you to the correct service procedure.
