Trunk warning light flashing on 2021 Goldwing Tour with Hannigan Trike Kit

Helping a customer out who brought in a 2021 Goldwing Tour with a Hannigan trike conversion. She's been getting a flashing trunk open indicator ever since she returned from a road trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trunk appears to close and latch fine, but the dash still shows it's open. We've double-checked the alignment, cleaned the latch and sensor contacts, and even added a bit of padding to see if it was just a loose fit. Still flashing. Wondering if the Hannigan kit might've shifted something during install or if there's a bypass fix or sensor adjustment we're missing. No wiring diagrams for this setup either. Would appreciate any advice from others who've dealt with this or know where to get detailed electrical diagrams for the Tour models with trike kits.

It looks like the Hannigan kit might have messed with the trunk latch switch or its wiring. I'd reccommend taking a close look at the switch alignment and the latch bars. It's worth checking to ensure that the wiring harness isn't stretched or pinched from the conversion process. I've heard some people have had success tweaking the latch U-bracket or even adding a shim to help tighten things up

Has anyone else run into this after a trike conversion? I'm curiuos if you've found any quick fixes or tricks for bypassing the sensor

Since the latch works and you've already tried padding and cleaning, its worth checking for pinched wires or slight shifts in the sensor position caused by the conversion. Some have had luck adjusting the latch striker or gently bending the sensor tab
